Ministries of Westminster
Community Assistance
Westminster Presbyterian Church has a long history of outreach and assistance to local organizations who provide services to the underserved in Hot Springs. Some of the ministries we support are:
- Jackson House
- Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home
- Cooperative Christian Ministries and Clinic
- Samaritan Men's Ministries
- Project Hope Food Bank
- Potter's Clay Women's Shelter
- International Educational Missionaries
- Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
- Seasonal collection of socks, blankets, canned goods, fans, and winter apparel
- Meeting space for groups such as AA, Audubon Society, The Fun City Chorus, Women's Welcome Club, Hot Springs Flute Ensemble, DAR and others
Children and Youth
Sunday School for the Children and Youth of the church is held each Sunday after the worship service at 11:30.
The youth also meet periodically for special events and fellowship through out the year. Check the events calendar for times and places.
Presbyterian Women Catherine Circle
Catherine Circle meets on the second Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. of each month (September-May) for fellowship, Bible study, and service projects assisting babies, children, and adults in our community.
Men's Ministry
Westminster Men meet on the first Wednesday of each month (September-May) at 8:15 a.m. for breakfast at the Higdon Square Cafe.
Chancel Choir and Joyful Ringers
The Chancel Choir meets every Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in the sanctuary and every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. to prepare for worship.
The Joyful Ringers rehearse at 5:45 p.m. Wednesdays and provide special music once a month.
Mother's Day Out Program
Mother’s Day Out Program provides professional child care for children between the ages of one and five-years old Monday through Thursday.
